Cakes

GOOEY BUTTER CAKE
1 butter cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
Mix and press into a greased 13x9 in. pan.

1 box powdered sugar, sifted
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
Beat these 4 ingredients together and pour on top of mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.



MS. BETTY’S WEDDING CAKE

3 Betty Crocker White cake mix
2 Duncan Hines White cake mix
**Add 1 extra egg white per box**

Mix and bake according to box directions in the 3 different size pans.
Baking times: 6” for 20-25 min.; 10” for 30 min.; 12” for 35-40 min.
(1 of each size) 6”, 10”, and 12” pan
(1 of each size) 8”, 12”, 14” seperators

MS. BETTY’S WEDDING ICING

8 pounds of powdered sugar
20 oz. Crisco, regular
1 c. boiling water
1 T. clear vanilla, or almond

With mixer on High speed, thoroughly mix powdered sugar, crisco and boiling water until light and fluffy or till lumps disappear. Beat until very smooth and of spreading consistency; add clear vanilla or almond.
