BEANIE WEENIE
(West Side cookbook, Chris Benjamin)
2 hot dogs, sliced
1/2 onion, chopped
1 can bean and bacon soup
Ketchup to taste
Slice hot dogs and chop onion. Simmer in a pot with a drop of oil until onions are clear. Put in soup. Add water to desired thickness. Cook and add ketchup while cooking. Simmer and stir until well heated.
These are my favorite recipes! But as "test kitchen" suggests, I like to experiment. As I discover improvements, the recipes change.
